British Council Building, Tower Hill, 14th November 2023: The Chairman for National Assets and Government’s Property Commission together with his team on the 14th November 2023 inspected the entire edifice of the British Council Building, the Headquarters for the Petroleum Regulatory Agency ( PRA).
The Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) was principally enacted by Act of Parliament in 2014, with the Statutory Instrument of 2016 to regulate the downstream petroleum sector which includes refining, storage, importation, bunkering, transportation, distribution, retailing, etc of operators and also work with relevant stakeholders to determine affordable and efficient pump prices across the country.
PRA held an inaugural meeting for Emerging Gas Station Operators across Western Urban and rural Areas on Thursday 4th May. 2023 at our British Council Building, Tower Hill, Freetown.
Following the recent upsurge in the global prices of petroleum products, the Petroleum Regulatory Agency together with the Ministry of Finance, Trade & Industry, have reviewed retail pump prices from Le 19.5 to Le 21.5 effective today.
The Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency, Brima Baluwa Koroma, has on the 23rd of January 2023, commended the commissioning of the LeonOil Grammar School gas station in Aberdeen.
